1. Connect Device with PC

Connect the device to a Windows PC. The device is USB plug-and-play, so no driver is needed.

Open the MSR160 demo software, then click on Connect. Make sure the device version number is displayed in the red area, as shown in the picture below. This indicates that the device is connected successfully.

After that, you can begin your operation.

2. M1 Card

Select M1 Card to start Mifare one card reading and writing.

The device can function as a keyboard emulator (active mode/auto-reading mode) or can be read by software (passive mode/HID mode). If you want to read M1 card using the demo software, please set it to passive mode using the setting tool (the device's default mode is passive).

M1 card has a total of 16 sectors and 64 blocks. Please make sure you have a good understanding of M1 card when using the reading and writing functions.
